How I Review Films

Every reviewer has a specific way of evaluating the latest box office films: the thumbs up/thumbs down method; the star system; counting all offensive matter and all positive matter and giving a numeric rating system; and on and on.

I have chosen a looser way to talk about films. Even so, it is generally based on this format:
1) Synopsis discussing the main actors and the plot
2) What I like/ what I think the audience will like
3) Things to watch out for, particularly for those of the Christian faith and those who take a “family friendly” bent
4) A discussion of underlying themes or anything else particularly interesting and noteworthy about the film

Beyond that, I try to stay true to letting the words flow naturally.
